Yellow River Tour

When you arrive at Browns Fish Camp Boat Ramp, your guide will greet you with a friendly smile and a quick, easy introduction to kayaking. We’ll take time to get everyone comfortable in their kayak—adjusting foot pegs, seats, and anything else you need so you’re ready to paddle with ease. Once everyone’s set, we’ll head out on a peaceful 4.5-mile journey, weaving through a maze of calm channels and winding waterways. The towering cypress trees draped in Spanish moss create a storybook setting, and with each stroke of your paddle, you’ll feel more and more immersed in the quiet beauty of the swamp.

This tour is different from our Pensacola Beach adventure—here, it’s all about serenity. No boat engines or busy beaches, just the soothing sounds of nature all around you. You’ll hear birds calling, the gentle splash of your paddle, and the rustle of leaves in the breeze. If we’re quiet enough, we might spot turtles basking in the sun, fish darting beneath our kayaks, and—on rare occasions—a shy alligator slipping through the water.

About halfway through, we’ll pause for snacks and water while you soak in the stillness and take in views you just can’t get anywhere else. By the time we circle back to the launch, you’ll feel refreshed, recharged, and a little more connected to the wild side of Florida.
